Easel Calendar Copic Card Class

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Had a wonderful afternoon yesterday running the class, it was the final class of 2012, it was lovely to see our wonderful regulars and have a catch up.

The ladies this week, played on my bow maker, and I showed them how to create the double bow, and they all created some stunner's. Can see the ribbon selling out fast in the shop. When I left some of the green was left but quite a lot of the black and silver, although the black and silver would look great on any card not just a Christmas one.

I was thrilled some of you managed to find some Atyou's, you are just so going to be addicted :)

So here is the card we all created

Copic Class

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Yesterday I had a wonderful time running my copic class with 8 fabulously talented ladies. I always love the banter during the class and the time to show others some new techniques with the copic pens. It was lovely to meet two new ladies, hope to see you again soon.

The card we made this time around was quite simple to allow time for the ladies to play with this new technique for them.

So here is the card they followed

This is a Wedding Card

The base layer is black card with papers from the Bloomsbury collection.  The MS heart punch has been used along with the grand nestie circle and scallop and some tiny pearls.  The sentiment on the front is by Wild Rose Studio as is the one inside.  They are part of the Wedding Circles pack and can be found here if not in the shop.

Here is a close up of the image, coloured in copics and a little Atyou Spica for the confetti.
The technique learnt was spot colouring, where other than the smaller elements of the image the actual bears were coloured purely with dots, quite time consuming but creating a really lovely furry texture look to them.

All the supplies for this card can be purchased in the shop except the Atyou pens.

The next class is

Saturday 20th October at 3.30pm

Remember to pay for your spot when booking it

Look out in the shop as the copic pens have been ordered as have the images for the next class.
The card for the next class is on display in the shop.

Thank you for you suggestion on a blog class and I will speak to Lynn to see if I can arrange this for you all.

enjoy the rest of your day
Hugs

Bella With Balloons Copic Card Class

Good evening to you all in the land of blog
and hello to the lovely ladies of the copic card class. Firstly apologise for the delayed start to the class and secondly a big thank you to our knight in shining armour, who rescued the day by cutting out so many embossed dies :) such a star........................

There is always one in the class that likes to challenge us and for the second month in a row she did just that :), but we love her still

So today the ladies of the copic card class, created this lovely little number before the level of conversation took a downward turn, mentioning no names for the culprit of the downward turn, however looking at her you would think that butter would melt in her mouth......................
The circle and oval dies are grand nestie circles and scallops
The flowers are Marianne dies as are the flourishes
The leaf dies are part of a set (two packs left in the shop, so you will have to be quick)
Image is Wild Rose Studio Bella with Balloon (two images left in the shop, so again you will have to be quick)
Sentiment is from the celebration circles set from Wild Rose Studio

If you were new to the class, it was lovely to meet you and hope you will be returning for the next class.  Also the colour wheel and colour sheet are a couple of posts lower so please scroll down (take a peek at the other gorgeous cards made in other classes as you pass)

From today's class the addition of You Tube video's on the colouring techniques used on the card.  Today's is split into two parts one is colouring the Balloons and the other is colouring Bella.
Here are the links

The next card class will be on the
Saturday 21st July @ 3.30pm through till 6.00pm
with the last half an hour set aside for colouring techniques and practice.

Please ensure that you have put your name down for the class to avoid delays to the start of the class

Celebrate The Jubilee

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Today I get to show you a card that I was going to use for a class, however due to the amount of colouring and size of colouring space decided this was not really the best card and image to use for that, so it is now on display in the shop.

So here it is
I made a birthday card, using the matching papers for this image available in the shop.

The base layer is  a royal blue, I used the grand nestie smaller circle to sit the image on and used the matching scallop circle to frame him. The bunting is cut from one of the pages in the paper pad.

here is a close up of the image coloured in copics with some Atyou Glitter pens to the fine line areas

Now I have a little news to share with you, I have a new web cam, this means that I will be colouring up my images for the card classes whilst being video'd.  This will mean that after the class, you can if you want, watch the video over and over and over again :)

hugs
