The Trade Show and todays class.

This post is being made on behalf of Lynn as she is just so busy at the moment, but really wants to get the blog up and running, so here goes............

A great time was had by all last weekend at the Trade Show at the NEC in Birmingham, here's the queue, waiting patiently for the Tim Holtz / Ranger workshop.

Here's the man himself, Tim Holtz. What WAS he saying?

We had our photo's taken with him, in fact I think everyone on the class did.

We managed to make 3 small canvas' in the class. This was the favourite, using the new distress stains, tissue tape and Sizzix dies, along with other Ranger goodies.

Speaking of classes, the 'star book' class is almost full now, I 'm looking forward to taking a full days class again.

It has a real pretty vintage style to it and is ready to add photo's.
This is how the book looks when it's open.

These are samples of the plaques we made last week.

We used a variety of stamps from Paper Artsy and Crafty Individuals.

and a variety of embellishments, combined with heat embossed elements.

I'll leave you with the sample of the card we made today in class. Everyone made their own unique 'masterboard' then created the tiles in their chosen colours. Each one was so different.
Well that's it for now. I think Polly will be showing you some of her lovely creations soon. Lynn is just so busy at the moment so we are holding the fort until she can get her head around 'blogging'.
