Thursday Scrapbook Night

Well it was a very full class last night and although we were all VERY busy with the cuttlebug and BigShot, everyone went home with the page completed - yeayyyyy LOL!

We used the new papers from the new Madeline collection by Prima - these have a lovely vintage feel to them. We used the large and medium retro punches, Spellbinders leaf set, a leaf punch by X-cut nad some edge punches and this is what we made.

And here we are all busy creating the page whilst listening to 80's music

Best get next weeks page finished lol - Have a good Bank Holiday weekend

Altered tags

We all ended up with 'dirty fingers' after the calss on Thursday. We were altering tags by creating our own unique backgrounds, flowers, leaves, slide mounts and embellishments.

These are a couple of my samples.

All of the images, rubber stamps and slide mounts are by Crafty Individuals.

The ladies are really getting into the altered art now and always impress me with their creative designs.

Recent classes

We all had a great time making this little wallet booklet on Thursday.

Everyone added their own twist on the cover. It's always great to see different ideas evolve.

Then Sunday saw the 'Crafty Individuals' acetate book class.

Remind me never to let them watercolour again, it was soooooo quiet.

This was the sample, quite manly rather than my usual style as Sandra wanted a book she could adapt for her husbands 60th.

Classes

Just a really quick post tonight. The card we made on Thursday using the Tim Holtz 'dress form' die and Crafty Individuals plate CI-285. I used very pale subtle colours for mine but it was amazing to see the variations in colours on the cards the ladies made. I really must remember to take my camera next time!

This is the acetate book we will be making next Sunday.

The darker colours make it suitable for either male or female, but it would gorgeous in brighter colours too...
