Copic Colouring Class 23rd October

Hi Ladies

thank you for a lovely class today, really enjoyed working with you all, and it was great to meet some new ladies too.

As promised we spent more time on the image colouring this time around and here is the card image so that you can continue your practising and finishing of your image for the card. (I will next time print off some of the photographs to make it easier in class)
This is the lovely Penguin image by Kanban available with other images and sentiments in the pack, available in the shop as are the  papers which are Me To You "Winter Wonderland" papers. Remember if your pearls are not the correct colour just use your copics to match them up.

Additional information promised
Rey Text and Graphic Paper (this is an on line order and delivered to you)

Here is the colour wheel, which will assist you in choosing your first purchases of copics.

and here is the colour chart - remember this needs to be printed out onto the same paper you are using for your images on your cards, otherwise the colours will change. This will help you to avoid purchasing doubles too.
The next class is

20th November 2011 @ 1pm - 3.30pm

The card is available on show in the shop and Lynn has the colour list for you for your pen purchases.

As always if you have any questions on your copics please feel free to contact me here

Happy colouring
Kate

A christmas scrap layout was the theme for this weeks class.  We used lush papers by My Minds Eye, did some inking, used the Rosette diecut by Tim Holtz and a Nellie Snellen leaf die and here is my page (ready for photos at Christmas)

and here are the pages by the lovely Thursday night ladies

(seated from left to right), Sue, Lauren and Jackie, (standing) Sam, Lynn, Kerry, Sandra (with new stunning hair-do) and Katrina

and the lovely Friday day ladies Chris, Betty, Hannah, Cheryl, Leslie and Katie

See you all next week xx

Christmas is a coming!

The two recent Christmas card making workshops were a great success. It was so funny to be creating cards for Christmas on two of the hottest days of the year!

We used lots of Crafty Individuals products

along side some traditional papers

added a few techniques here and there

and LOTS of distress inks

to create six cards....

In fact Christmas will be here before we know it.
