Scrapbooking evening - Thursday 14th July

A bit of a fun page this evening, using punched out circles to create a scalloped circle and measuring up little triangles to create a little bunting.  I did think at one point that we might not get to finish the page but we did!!! LOL

Here we all are making a start on slightly distressing the circles (having cut round tea plates)

Katrina looking quizzical (think I may have told fibs last week about not distressing this week)

the ever bashful Sharon showing off her 'distressing' finger

And completed layouts by Kerry & Sharon

Will show you the rest once they have added their titles

See you next week

This layout is the one we did 7th July using My Minds Eye Lost and Found range.

Here we all busy preparing the papers (and having a catch-up)

G R imsby Crafts

Long ago, and I mean aaaages ago, Lynn asked all of the tutors to decorate a couple of letters (which will spell out 'GRIMSBY CRAFTS') to display in the shop. I have had them for months, (sorry Lynn) but finally got round to completing them. Here's the G...

And the R.....

The backgrounds were created with paints, texture paste, inks, colour wash and dry brushing and overstamping with my favourite Crafty Individuals backgrounds.

The die cuts are Tim Holtz designs by Sizzix all available in store.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating these letters as it was something a little bit different.

Classes have been going well... Here's a few of the ladies, having fun creating...

....all eyes on Trish!!!!

Finally, the card below is a 'spin off' of the 'double tag pocket' card we made in class last week. Terry had brought her Grandaughter Olivia to the class and she amazed me with her ability to 'do her own thing'.

She turned her card on its side and just went for it, creating this lovely vintage looking tag card. Well done Olivia!!!!!! Look forward to seeing you in clas again during the summer holidays!
